Operations Manager- Full Time
About the Position
All Star is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as Operations Manager. You will lead and work with a 40+ employee, 1-shift operation remanufacturing lights for the Collision and Auto Repair Markets. Key success factors for the Operations Supervisor will be optimizing material movement, tracking key measurables, ensuring safety, driving quality, and developing/implementing operational standards, all while successfully meeting our customers delivery expectations. Collaborate with team members and management to build strategies, manage reporting, set goals, and increase the overall output, while maintaining a positive employee culture. What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead daily operations to include inventory, material movement, quality, and shipping.
- Auditing teams in to ensure we are adhering to process and diminishing returns.
- Comply with safety standards and requirements to ensure a safe and hazard free environment.
- Meeting and enforcing quality control, inventory accuracy, and daily production standards.
- Ensure timely order commitment to meet customer delivery expectation.
- Assist in developing OJT training programs.
- Assisting Ops Manager/GM as needed
- Participate in period end inventory counts as required performing accurate inventory counts and recording counts clearly as directed
- Participate in daily meetings
Skills and Experience
- Ability to coach, train, and motivate employees.
- Organizational skills
- Problem solving/critical thinking.
- Self-starter mentality
- 2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
- Experience in inventory, distribution, shipping, or materials strongly preferred.
- Optimal candidate will have experience in developing/implementing organizational standards.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours.
- Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
