As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations. ```Duties```
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the office calendar
- Transcribe and type correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Ensure the reception area is clean and tidy at all times

```Skills```
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong transcription and typing skills with excellent accuracy
- Attention to detail for proofreading documents and maintaining accurate records
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Knows dentrix and has experience in it.
