We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our medical office team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional patient service. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and providing administrative support.
```Responsibilities```
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Schedule patient appointments using our electronic scheduling system (Epic or Eaglesoft)
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Provide general administrative support to the medical office staff
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in a medical receptionist or front desk role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (Epic or Eaglesoft)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
