We are seeking a highly organized and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and staff. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
Requirements:
- Previous experience with insurance verification is preferred.
- Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and phone systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
