Our Front Office Team is an important part of what makes WFPC award winning in recognition of healthcare services. On-the-job training is provided.
As part of the Front Office Team you will:
- Answer telephone calls via multi-line phone system, schedule appointments and communicate with other healthcare offices.
- Provide a welcoming check-in experience for our patients using our electronic medical record (EMR) system, including entering insurances, demographics and obtaining consents.
- Help patients after their visit at check-out by scheduling other appointments, collecting payment, and billing insurance.
- Be a part of a collaborative team to provide excellent care for our patients!
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with multi-line phone system.
- Experience with computers, preferably with EMRs.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Prior experience working in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
- Basic understanding of medical insurance.
- Customer service focused with providing excellent service to patients.
