Job Title: Front Office Administrator
The Medical receptionist's primary responsibility is to professionally manage the patient process through the administration of the Front Office. The ideal candidate would be someone with a high level of organizational skills, experience in a mental health setting, able to multitask, is detail oriented, and has great communication skills.
Compensation: $15.25-17.85 per hour, based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time and Part-time

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information and any other necessary data.
- Provide patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents.
- Process payments from patients for co-pays and patient balances.
- Answer telephone and schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on provider's availability. Follow up on client requests.
- Verify patients' insurance eligibility and benefits through all insurance carriers to include pre-authorization requests.
- Collects and distributes mail, messages, and reports to the appropriate staff members.
- Maintains patient files and database according to HIPPA regulations and by ensuring information is up to date.
- Makes phone calls to existing and new patients as indicated.
- Maintains orderly appearance of reception and front desk areas.
- Opening and closing office protocols
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High School diploma or equivalent is required.
· Three (3) years previous medical or general office experience
· Five (5) years’ previous customer service experience
· Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards -Certification a plus
· Must be well organized and able to multitask efficiently.
· Must be flexible and adaptable.
· Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English.
· Must be proficient in MS Office and have effective computer skills.
· Must be proficient in online platforms for EMR and website and social media platforms.
· Must have the ability to sit at a desk for 70%-90% of the workday in a general office environment.
