Established Appliance Retailer is looking for a committed front office receptionist\billing clerk to work in our corporate office in Northwest Portland.
BASCO Appliances, Oregon’s premier appliance showroom, is seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented individual to join our team. Reporting to the Controller the ideal candidate will be someone who is versatile and eager to take on a wide variety of tasks.
Front Office Duties
Greet and direct visitors
Answer telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate person
Schedule freight orders
Daily invoicing and emailing to customers
Provide callers with information such as company address, directions to the company’s locations, company website and other related information.
Disseminate inbound mail and run postage on outgoing mail.
Order, receive, stock and distribution of office supplies
Order supplies for office equipment
Help will call customers during lunch hour
Keep supply\break room clean and organized
Accounts Receivable Duties
Attention to detail
Organization skills
Payment posting and bank deposit experience
Detailed Accuracy of data entry
High impact positive attitude
Verbal and written communication
Intuitive software skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
Equipment skills: mail machine, scanner, copier
Ability to follow up and follow through on various tasks
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to not be distracted by your personal phone
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
