Legacy House of Southern Hills provides both assisted living and memory care services. Our residents enjoy daily activities, restaurant-style dining, beautifully decorated living areas and a variety of apartment floor plans – all in a tranquil, yet home-like setting.
Overview:
Legacy House of Southern Hills Assisted Living is seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our residents, families, visitors, and staff, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting visitors, residents, and staff in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Answering incoming calls and transferring them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Providing information and assistance to callers and visitors.
- Managing the reception area, including maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as sorting mail, filing, and data entry.
- Coordinating appointments and reservations for residents and visitors.
- Assisting residents with inquiries, requests, and basic administrative needs.
- Monitoring and distributing resident emergency call signals.
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure a seamless flow of communication and operations.
- Upholding confidentiality and privacy standards in all interactions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and email.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their families.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required by state regulations.
