Front Desk Receptionist

The Life Change Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been providing recovery services for heroin and prescription medication abuse concerns since 1999. We offer a variety of services to help people to make the changes necessary to beat their drug addiction.

The emphasis of our recovery program is based on two primary themes; empowerment and improving quality of life. We have a talented group of staff members with expertise in recovery from opioid addictions.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in a substance use treatment facility preferred, but not required
• Must be prompt daily and highly reliable
• Open clinic and prepare for patient arrival
• Check patients in
• Collect payments accurately
• Deliver daily deposits to bank as needed
• Schedule appointments and various receptionist duties
• Upload files to patient charts
• Work with nursing staff and counselors to better assist patients by having strong communication with all staff and supervisors
• Assist with the intake process by following checklist and obtaining proper documentation from patient
• Inform potential patients and public about what the organization does
• Show familiarity with policies and procedures relating to the company
• Exhibit strong knowledge of HIPPA 42CFR and confidentiality laws regarding treatment and patient privacy
• Maintain appropriate boundaries
• Communicate with targeted population by being firm and assertive while also using a high level of respect and empathy
• Know the functions of basic technology (email, fax, scan, print, Microsoft Office)
• Work well under pressure with demanding population

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift Monday through Friday, 5:45am-1:45pm

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
