Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The Front Desk Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all.

Job Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner
- Answer incoming phone calls

- Schedule appointments
- Obtaining accurate patient health insurance, demographics and referral information

-Collect necessary co-pays and patient financial responsibilities at the time of visit
- Perform general administrative tasks
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area

Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in phone systems and phone etiquette
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of office equipment and basic computer skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Note: Experience as an Integrative Medicine Receptionist is a plus. Experience with Athenahealth EMR system, and working in a medical office is highly desirable.
