SalaryResponsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update information in electronic medical record systems such as eClinicalWorks, Epic, Dentrix, or other medical office systems
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient clinic operations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
Experience:
- Previous experience as a receptionist in a medical or dental office is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as eClinicalWorks, Epic, Dentrix, or other similar systems is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
