Our practice is excited to add another receptionist to our team! We are looking for an individual who is good at communication, organization, and multi-tasking, and who is ready to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate would have experience as a receptionist preferably in medicine. Schedule is 3 week days and some Saturdays.
Front Desk Receptionist
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Check-in patients, put medical information and charges in the computer -Check-out patients, process payments
- File and maintain patient records and other administrative documents
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a medical or Veterinary office is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in transcribing patient information
- Proficiency in using using computer software
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
