- Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the phone. Experience in medical office environment and multi line phones is a plus!
- Answers patient inquires in person or via phone. Must have great Customer Service skills and phone etiquette.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reports changes as needed.
- Answer all emails in prompt manner.
- Scan insurance cards and insert file into patients records on a daily basis.
- Check schedule daily to update insurance cards and demographics.
- Check all patients out of the building.
- Schedule patients for follow-up appointments.
- Collect co-pays and balances from patient.
- This person will mainly triage phone calls and fill in at the check in and check out desk as needed.
