We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, both in person and over the phone
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring accuracy of information
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Assist with night audit duties, including reconciling daily financial transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the Front Desk area
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Front Desk or customer service role preferred
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) highly desirable
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and phone systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as required
