The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking a full-time File Clerk for our Administration Division.
Position Summary:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: processing mail; maintaining the office filing onsite and at the offsite storage locations; maintaining the law library and conference rooms; assisting office staff as needed with mail, typing, research, data entry, or any other area which may need assistance.
- This position’s duties also require frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy office furniture (desks, tables, chairs, file cabinets, etc.) throughout the office and to different floors throughout our building, as well as lifting, pushing and pulling boxes of paper and files.
- This position will also be responsible for assisting the office Runner with filing documents at local courts, post office runs, and other office runs; as well as backing up the receptionists and/or docket clerks as needed, which would include answering and managing a multi-line switchboard, greeting and directing guests and scheduling reservations.
Qualifications:
At least two years of professional experience related to the duties and responsibilities mentioned above in the position summary and/or a bachelor’s degree. A valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
