Job Summary
Administers and directs the overall operations of two (2) select-service IHG hotels with emphasized focus on direct sales efforts. Accountable for achieving budgeted revenues/profits, while maintaining the operational and service standards prescribed by Leisure Hospitality Management. (IHG experience preferred - not an entry level position)
Principal Activities & Responsibilities
- Responsible for promoting the LHM core values: Honesty, Personal Integrity, and Team before Self.
- Required to work a minimum of 40 hours/week; schedules are determined of need and occupancies of hotels.
- Required to maintain “on-target” performance on Owner’s Scorecard – IHG Winning Metrics.
- Collaborate with Regional Rooms Director in management of Housekeeping/Rooms Teams.
- Approach all encounters with guests and Associates in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with standards; punctual, maintain shifts and cover for absent/call-in shifts when needed.
- Resolve all guest concerns, complaints or suggestions in a continuous effort to provide superior guest service, via written communication and/or phone calls.
- Monitor service trends by speaking with guests, reviewing guest comments (online or comment card), and guest tracking information to ensure brand and Leisure Hospitality Management service standards are achieved.
- Responsible in selection, training, counseling, and motivating of hourly Associates.
- Strict adherence and enforcement of our code of business conduct; provides disciplinary action when needed.
- Direct all Associates in ongoing use of brand standard Training Programs; provides Associates with tools they need to perform their jobs.
- Participate and conduct weekly Leadership Team meetings; promote LHM teamwork culture continuously.
- Maintain inventory control of supplies needed for day-to-day hotel operations. include managing product orders.
- Ensure effective departmental communication and information systems through brand standard required logs or software.
- Responsible for sanitation standards via monthly inspections of (minimum) 25 guest rooms, public areas, grounds, storage/work areas, and all kitchen areas.
- Ensure that preventative maintenance programs are completed on schedule and meet brand and LHM quality standards.
- Assist in the implementation and execution of revenue programs to ensure that hotels’ room occupancy, average daily rate, and RevPAR objectives are met; participate in revenue strategy calls.
- Remain current on room rates, room availability and emergency procedures.
- Understand competitive market conditions and communicate information to Sales Team.
- Represent hotels in the market and develop relationships with Key Accounts.
- Responsible for collection of account receivable ledgers (aka “Aging Accounts”).
- Prepare designated weekly and monthly administration tasks requested by LHM.
- Ensure proper communication and teamwork are continuous with sister properties.
- Maintain appearance standards as outlined in departmental LHM policies.
- Perform “Manager on Duty” responsibilities as required.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,800.00 - $84,800.00 per year
