03/31/2024Lake Forest School District 67 is seeking a part-time Seasonal File Clerk between the months of June and August 2024.
Description: The part-time seasonal filing clerk will support the Executive Director of Special Education, Compliance and Grant Management organize our temporary records in order to create an organized and efficient system to prepare them to be digitized.
Hourly rate: $16-20
Essential Functions:
- Supports Executive Director of Special Education, Compliance and Grant Management for the purpose of ensuring the accuracy of student records.
- Responsible for organizing student records following a defined structure to prepare them for digitizing.
- Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Maintains confidential information.
- Tracks the review of student files using a checklist and records information in a Google spreadsheet.
- Interprets records of students for the purpose of eliminating duplicates, ordering materials and filing according to the shared structure.
- Communicates any discrepancies or challenges encountered to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education, Experience, and Licensure (required and preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED, required
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work harmoniously, cooperatively and effectively with all staff members
- Ability to communicate clearly - written and verbal
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to initiate and sustain assignments without an inordinate amount of supervision or direction.
- Ability to read and follow directions.
- Ability to problem solve when new situations arise.
