Job Description*
The purpose of this position is to organize service activities in the dedicated region to ensure the department’s efficient and profitable operation by satisfying customers and enhancing customer relations. The Regional Service Manager will create an environment where the department/local hubs and its employees develop and excel. As well as enhance the reputation of TOMRA Food at every opportunity when interacting with others.
Primary Job Functions
- Drive for Achievement:
- Set KPI targets in collaboration with Service Director Americas aligned with TOMRA Food Strategy Plan.
- Deliver and achieve agreed results, monitor monthly revenue information for performance improvement.
- Develop and coach employees through quarterly MBO and annual performance reviews.
- Efficiency:
- Ensure successes are replicated and best practices disseminated for operational excellence.
- Take corrective action where adverse variations to target achievement occur, initiate strategies for improvement.
- Ensure accurate recording of parts, service times, and invoicing in the Service Department/local hubs.
- Customer Service:
- Enhance TOMRA Food's commitment to customer service and retention through improved facilities, technical skills, quality workmanship, and customer handling.
- Implement best practices in customer communication.
- Financial and Business Management:
- Meet financial targets by managing the assigned budget.
- Develop and implement short-, medium-, and long-term business priorities aligned with the strategy for success.
- Accurately plan and forecast assigned business performance, resources, and finances.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (electrical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Skills in applying and using knowledge in a management position.
- Being self-motivated and having the proven capacity to fully complete tasks.
- Ability to organize clerical work, administration, control systems and financial resources.
- Leadership and coaching attributes.
- Technical, Professional and Engineering qualifications.
- Experience and knowledge of modern business methods and financial control - Skills in using this knowledge in a practical way.
- Excellent technical problem-solving, troubleshooting, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent communication skills, very good in spoken and written English
- Business experience in support function.
- Ability to relate to local customers, their views, and issues (preferably experience in the local culture).
Work Environment:
- Ability to work in Food processing plants, farms, cold storage facilities, and outside in high/low temperatures
Physical Requirements
- Job requires frequent bending, kneeling, and standing
- Lifting of up to 80 lbs.
- Working in confined spaces
- Ability to drive for long distances
- Ability to distinguish between the full rand of colors in the color spectrum
- No major food allergies that would impede on the job requirements
Supervision
- This is a Supervisory role
Travel:
- Extensive domestic and international travel
- Ability to obtain a passport
Driving:
- Ability to drive without restrictions in residency country

For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $104,960 to $131,200.
Salary: $104,960.00 - $131,200.00 per year
