General Purpose
We are looking for a Facilities Assistant Recreation to join our team. Under the direction of the Recreation Coordinator - Facilities, the Recreation Assistant - Facilities maintains a comprehensive program of training and supervision of the front desk staff in the Recreation Center. They must work successfully in a team-oriented atmosphere that provides citizens and employees with accurate information and excellent customer service. Must be accountable, flexible and adaptable at conflict resolution. This position plays a key role in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and provide a safe and inclusive environment for our community.

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm (with a 1 hour lunch).

Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range is $37,841.48- $47,301.48/annually ($18.1928 - $22.7411/hourly)

PAID TIME-OFF BENEFITS:
- Holidays: There are 11 paid holidays each year.
- General Leave: Leave banks are granted to employees after six months of full-time employment. General Leave may be used for vacations, personal business, illness, or other reasons as requested by the employee and approved by his/her supervisor.

The employee must have successfully completed their 6-month Introductory Period for eligibility.
- Recreation Center Membership: Employees and family members are eligible for a membership to the Commerce City Recreation Center for $5.00 per person per year.
- Golf Course Green Fees: Employees can play the City's award-winning Buffalo Run Golf Course at a rate of $9.00 for 9-holes or $18.00 for 18-holes. Employees can also purchase golf merchandise at discounted prices.
