Here's a summary of responsibilities:
The USOPC seeks a talented and motivated individual to join the team as an Assistant in Facilities Business Operations for a 6-month temporary basis. The Assistant will support the Business Operations team by processing purchase requisitions and invoices, composing and sending work notices, managing vendor badging, and assisting with various operational initiatives.
Here's how you'll have an impact:
- Process purchase requisitions for purchase order issuance, pay invoices, and file per the department system.
- Greet and direct visitors, receive and sort mail, issue, and log contractors' security cards, answer multi-line phones, and dispatch accordingly.
- Assist with coordinating meetings, including preparing agendas, taking meeting notes, and following up on action items.
- Perform relevant data entry for the department. Support department data analytics, as appropriate. Create and format reports for distribution.
Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:
- Bachelor's degree (studies in facilities management, business, or finance preferred) or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of administrative work experience
- Outstanding analytical and organizational skills with acute attention to detail and processes
- Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Observant and self-motivated with a natural intellectual curiosity, an eagerness to learn, and an inherent desire to look for ways to improve
- Proactive and capable of seeking information independently, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results
- Flexibility to adapt to challenging work situations and varied styles
- Ability to multitask
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude to roll up your sleeves, overcome hurdles, and accomplish initiatives promptly on a lean team

- Ability to occasionally move or lift 50 lbs.

- This is a hub-based role that will regularly work from the Colorado Springs Olympic & Paralympic Training Center
Here's some more information you need to know:
- Hiring Pay Range: $17.34 - $21.00 per hour.
- This full-time, non-exempt, temporary position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
