Title:
Executive Assistant - Danbury Hospital MCA - Ob/Gyn department - 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts, 8;30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.
Summary:
Coordinates, oversees, and performs a wide variety of administrative and program support activities on behalf of the System Chair and Vice President of Women’s Health Services. Serves as primary point of operational and administrative contact for internal and external constituencies, often on complex and confidential issues. Manages hospital service agreement process for department(s) and prepares financial reports. Coordinates, supervises, and completes special projects and events. Serves on a variety of committees in a support capacity.
Responsibilities:
1. Primary point of direct administrative contact and liaison with internal and external departments and individuals/institutions regarding Women’s Health Service Line and other departments/divisions as assigned. Organizes, coordinates, and facilitates meetings, conferences, and other special events.
2. Provides confidential administrative support for System Chair and Vice President of Women’s Health Services, and other executives, as assigned to include managing schedules/calendars, making travel arrangements, screening and handling telephone and email communications, greeting and directing visitors and vendors, and dealing with administrative problems and inquiries as appropriate and with discretion.
3. Monitors and coordinates monthly financial variances, preparing confidential internal reports as requested.
4. Establishes and maintains files and records for the WHSL, in a secure, electronic format whenever possible.
5. Coordinates the hospital service agreement process with the HSA Administrators and Women’s Health Service Line leadership.
6. Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day management of supplies, equipment, and facilities for the organization, as appropriate, to include maintenance, inventory management, logistics, security, and related activities.
7. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.

9. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
10. Performs other duties as required.
Required:
Associate degree or equivalent experience. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point. Requires 3+ years' experience supporting Senior Level Management. Maintain confidentiality. Strong written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
Salary Range:
$24.9186 - $46.2774 Hourly
