A Day in the Life of the Executive Assistant:
In this position you would play an important role in assisting the Executive Director and ensuring their ability to lead the organization effectively by managing their calendar, schedule & completing a wide range of administrative tasks. Our Executive Assistant's strong attention to detail and organizational skills ensures our Executive Director can focus on the mission and needs of our organization at their most optimal level.
Our Executive Assistant also works as a liaison and supports our Board of Directors in handling all the logistics for meetings and events. You would also assist the Executive Director and other members of the leadership team by providing support where needed.
This position requires our Executive Assistant to be forward thinking by being able to anticipate the needs and prioritize matters for our Executive Director all while maintaining high levels of professionalism, discretion, trust and credibility regarding agency information.
Qualifications for the Job:
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 5-10 years supporting executive leadership. (Non-profit preferred)
- Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to work in a team environment but also able to thrive independently
Schedule:
35 hours a week Monday-Friday & flexible hours based on the needs and responsibilities of the position.
