We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the President/CEO, Executive Team and Board of Directors with their role of leading LD&B and delivering on the company’s strategic and operational priorities.
LD&B is a 100% employee-owned ESOP company with approximately 75 employees across six offices in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  We’ll be celebrating 50 years in business in 2024!

General Description
As Executive Assistant you will be confident, calm, and focused. If you are proactive, with a high level of attention to detail and skilled in prioritizing competing tasks; are able to communicate well with staff at all levels; and comfortable interacting with a wide range of external stakeholders, this is the ideal job for you.
This role will be vital to the effective leadership of the organization and delivery of our mission. You will be able to exercise tact and diplomacy, always maintaining confidentiality. You will be an excellent planner and organizer, with expert level verbal and written communication skills supporting your ability to think creatively and solve complex problems independently. You will be educated to degree level or have relevant training and experience working as an Executive Assistant.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Efficiently managing multiple diaries with polite yet assertive gatekeeping, prioritizing inquiries and requests, and coordinating dynamic calendars and schedules to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
  • Understanding core business initiatives and operational content, in order to prepare documents, reports and presentations efficiently, and in line with business rhythms.
  • Being a true cheerleader for our employee-owned ESOP organization, immersing yourself in the company and developing an excellent understanding of current priorities and initiatives.
  • Developing and building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders by aligning personally with the organization’s core values: integrity, teamwork, innovation, service, and generosity.
