Southern California Medical Center (SCMC) is a leading Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) community clinic dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to individuals in our community. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Schedule appointments and meetings and maintain calendars for Executives.
- Coordinate and organize meetings, conferences, and special events.
- Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
- Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining office equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
- Provide support to Executives as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- BA is a plus; High school diploma Required.
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology and familiarity with medical office procedures.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Adaptability and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
