Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Junior Event Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential support in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events. You will work closely with senior event planners and assist in all aspects of event management, from initial concept to post-event evaluation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the dynamic field of event planning and management.
$48,500 - $53,500 yearly
Responsibilities:- Assist in the creation and distribution of event marketing materials, such as invitations, flyers, and social media posts
- Help manage event logistics, including scheduling, transportation, and accommodation arrangements for attendees and speakers
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and event attendees to ensure smooth communication and execution of event plans
- Assist with on-site event management, including setup, registration, attendee assistance, and troubleshooting
- Contribute to post-event activities, such as attendee surveys, data analysis, and reporting, to evaluate event success and identify areas for improvement
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in event planning and management to contribute innovative ideas and solutions
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event management software
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed during peak event periods
