Purpose
Assist with all aspects of event preparation for UT Energy Week 2024 (
https://sites.utexas.edu/energy-week/
), including collecting and organizing emails and documents, creating and updating graphics and other materials, updating websites, drafting and proofreading materials, and related functions; assist with all aspects of on-site support for UT Energy Week (March 26-28), including setting up event materials, attendee check-in, assisting speakers, providing event information, setting up presentations and webstream as directed, and cleaning up at the end of the day/end of event
Responsibilities
  • Reading and responding to emails and Teams messages; updating documents and files; proofreading.
  • Assisting with event prep and on-site event support
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 2 years of work experience in a business, academic, or event coordination role. Regular and punctual attendance. Excellent customer service/communication skills.

Working Conditions
  • Attire: Business Casual
  • Standard Office Environment, Use of manual dexterity, Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
Work Shift
  • Hours per week - 20
  • Hours will be approximately 20/week through March 22. The week of March 25-29, up to 40 hours will be required.
