Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Event Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an Event Assistant, you will work closely with our event planners and coordinators to ensure the smooth execution of events from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, and social gatherings.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and venue staff to coordinate event logistics and ensure all requirements are met.
- Help with on-site event setup, including decorating, signage placement, and audiovisual setup.
- Manage RSVP lists, attendee registrations, and guest communications.
- Provide on-site support during events, including overseeing registration, directing attendees, and addressing any issues that arise.
- Assist with post-event activities, such as gathering feedback, evaluating event success, and preparing event reports.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
