Are you a wiz with computers and complex technology systems? A hacker at heart? Do you live for the feeling of satisfaction that comes from seeing complex systems come together? We are seeking a part-time, Entry Level, information technologist who is local to the greater Los Angeles area to work on-site at our South Bay location. This role is part-time, to start, and would be about 4 hours each day in the afternoon Monday through Friday. There is potential for this to become a full-time role as we continue to grow.
Job Duties:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
- Setting up accounts for new users.
- Repairing and replacing equipment as needed.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
- Organize and schedule upgrades and needed maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
- Ensuring security and privacy of networks and computer systems
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience (in a formal or informal setting) in an IT support capacity.
- Ability to work in both MAC and PC environments.
- Capable of troubleshooting and fixing electronics in a timely manner.
- Be able to understand and use custom electronic systems and software developed in-house.
- Ability to work well under pressure, adhere to tight deadlines and follow guidelines, processes and schedules
- Well organized and clean.
- An ability to keep work stations in an organized state at all times.
- An individual who is self-motivated and independent.
- Willing to take on tasks unrelated of electronics and/or learn new things.
