ENTRY LEVEL POSITION

FULL-TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS

Summary:

This position supports our accounting operations by filing documents; Reconciling statements and running software programs. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work in a team environment, effectively meet deadlines, and communicate with vendors as well as management and staff.

Accounting Clerk General Duties:

• Maintains accounting records by making copies; Filing documents
• Reconciles bank statements
• Prepare wire transfer confirmations for reimbursable invoices
• Prepare American Express and Visa credit card authorizations; Send to vendors
• Maintains accounting databases by entering data into the accounting program
• Assists with reimbursable invoicing
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Accounting Clerk Skills/Qualifications: Knowledge of Peachtree Accounting software

• PC Proficiency; Windows, Basic Excel (formatting, summation, multiplication, sorting), Word and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills, problem solving skills
• Detailed and Deadline oriented

Education: High School Graduate

• Some College
• BS in Accounting preferred
• 1-2 years work experience in accounting field

Classification: Full-Time Compensation: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 (depending on experience)
