- Provide immediate assistance and guide individuals entering recovery and mental health treatment.
- Provide direct peer support services and emotional support.
- Engage in direct and indirect work that supports the clients' needs.
- Provide supportive resources to clients and/or families on a selective basis.
- Complete daily paperwork required.
- Work within the community to engage individuals within unhoused living situations and tent cities.
- Assist with transportation and referrals to higher level of care.
- 1 year of previous Peer Specialist experience.
- Peer certification required.
