What You'll Do at Brandywine Counseling as IMPACT Engagement Specialist:
- Be responsible for a caseload of clients, as identified by program requirements and in accordance with state regulations.
- Complete required evaluations and assessment. GPRA intake and discharge.
- Document all clinical services and interventions performed within the clients 'electronic record.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintains contact with outside providers to coordinate care.
- This position predominantly deals with our MAT clients, especially those who are at-risk for or who have Hepatitis C and HIV.
- This position entails a lot of engagement with a population that may not want to attend the sessions.
- Provide rapid testing
- Confer with the Clinical Supervisor on a daily basis for casing.
- Participates in weekly treatment team meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of assessments
- Considerable knowledge of population being served and available resources.
- Ability to evaluate and screen clients for appropriate treatment and document progress of clients.
- May require crisis intervention to emergency situations.
- Skill in establishing rapport with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a focused team.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Qualifications for the position are:
- REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED
- REQUIRED: Valid driver's license with 2 points or less
- REQUIRED: Must be a Peer.
- BCCS employs a diverse workforce and we especially encourage applications from those who are in recovery. This position requires that the candidate chosen for it is a peer. BCCS defines a peer as anyone who is in recovery from addiction to drugs or alcohol.
- PREFERRED: Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS).
- If you are not certified, certification is required within the first year of employment.
Pay:
From $17/hr., commensurate based on experience and education!
Schedule:
- 5:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or
- 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
