Encampment Peer Specialist

Job Description:

• Providing immediate assistance and guide individuals entering recovery and mental health treatment.
• Providing direct peer support services and emotional support.
• Engage in direct and indirect work that supports the clients' needs.
• Provide supportive resources to clients and/or families on a selective basis.
• Complete daily paperwork required.
• Work within the community to engage individuals within unhoused living situations and tent cities.
• Assist with transportation and referrals to higher level of care.

Qualifications:

• Must have previous personal experience with addiction and/or mental health struggles.
