I. Position Overview:
The Customer Service Specialist will report to the Operations and Product Manager - Sweeteners and has responsibility in the areas of shipping samples, purchase orders, accounts receivable and general office administration activities.
II. Specific Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
Process purchase orders as directed
- Send accounts receivable reminders to customers
- General Customer Service data entry
- Ship samples to customers
- Manage sample inventory
- Maintains inventory of office supplies; order new supplies as needed
- Enter customer orders, new customer information, and update customer information
- Provide general administrative support
- Other duties as required
III. Essential Skills and Experience:
Education or Equivalent: (Minimum required to perform job)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 plus years experience
Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
- QuickBooks
- Customer Service
- PO Processing
- High attention to detail
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be highly organized
- High initiative to resolve issues and know when to escalate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
