The Heritage Community works with a variety of school districts across the United States to successfully meet the academic needs of our students so they may eventually graduate from high school. We seek to hire two Administrative Coordinators to be responsible in correlating and corresponding Individualized Education Plans (IEP\u2019s), planning and administrating standardized testing, and assisting administrative needs. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize this diversified workload, while also being assertive to make recommendations for change in office practices and procedures. Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant in a school setting is highly preferred. We seek to hire professional candidates who will invest in our vision to change lives for a lifetime!
Schedule:
Monday \u2013 Friday, 8:00 AM \u2013 4:00 PM.
Accountabilities:
Schedule IEP meetings, notifying participants and preparing necessary paperwork or material. This includes coordinating and communicating with affiliated school district representatives and creating good networking relations as such.
Process, record, and maintain completed IEP documents and files.
Update and manage IEP files and any online forms for all affiliated school districts.
Keep record database regarding upcoming annuals, reviews, and triennials.
Order testing material for triennial meetings.
Facilitate school district testing, as required.
Coordinate with Speech-Language Pathologist and Occupational Therapist for students who receive these services, as required by IEP.
Work with academics, finance, and executive personnel to ensure contract review processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Produce and transmit reports and documents required to be compliant with contracts by coordinating with Human Resources and other company personnel.
Track progress of contracts to ensure all parties have completed and executed requirements in a timely manner.
Coordinate time off with Teachers, and schedule Substitutes and/or Paraprofessionals, where coverage is needed.
Perform clerical functions such as filing, correspondence, calendaring meetings and conferences, etc.
Prepare agendas for faculty meetings and be responsible to record accurate minutes as directed.
Coordinate logistics of special events planned by the Education Directors.
Assist Education Directors in being aware of trends and concerns within the department.
Other duties as assigned by the Education Directors.
Qualifications:
1-2 years\u2019 previous experience in an academic or treatment setting required.
Aptitude of education and IEP terminology.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good organizational skills and being detail oriented.
Solid computer skills, including experience and knowledge of Google Drive, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, etc.
Excellent networking and communication skills.
Must be able to hold confidences and properly handle confidential information.
Demonstrated ability to work with all department leaders in a professional, cohesive manner.
Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.
Proficiency and fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English.
