ABC US is striving to grow into an industry leader in both D2C and B2B E-commerce. The eCommerce Manager is responsible for managing the strategy, planning, and execution of the overall eCommerce goals. This role works cross-functionally with all sales channels to ensure our marketing efforts support our omnichannel sales efforts while also amplifying our brands. Ideal eCommerce manager candidates should have experience with Ace Hardware, Amazon, Do It Best, The Home Depot, Lowe's, and Menards, among other retail partner marketplaces. Additionally, candidates will need to have a strong understanding of SEO, advertising strategy, keyword optimization, and digitalization trends.

Essential Responsibilities:
Manages the eCommerce department, placing particular emphasis on satisfying online customer requirements and enhancing customer value. This includes overseeing the implementation and utilization of commerce software, developing commercially driven strategies (merchandising, cross-selling, and upselling), optimizing operational processes, managing data and content, and providing customer support across multiple eCommerce storefronts.
  • Defines the eCommerce program's strategic roadmap and prioritizes projects and resourcing within the product development, content, marketing, and merchandising workstreams.
  • Increase our product and market brand visibility in all areas of the internet on e-commerce retail websites including Ace, Amazon, Do it Best, Home Depot, Lowe's, and more.
  • Experience building and managing direct-to-consumer digital marketing strategy; monitoring, measuring, and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing spend.
  • Own the strategy of the selection and curation of products for the online marketplaces, partnering with retail partners, and ensuring they align with our company's vision, target audience, and brand values.
  • Monitor product availability, stock levels, and sales performance to maintain optimum inventory levels and minimize stockouts in partnership with supply chain managers.
  • Provide actionable insights to the Sales, Marketing, and Purchasing teams based on trends found in POS, Sales, Inventory, and other key digital metrics.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to continuously enhance our product offerings.
  • Collaborate with finance to determine competitive and profitable pricing for products, considering market dynamics and customer preferences.
  • Strategically arrange and present products on the store listings, optimizing visual appeal, A+ enhanced content, and user experience while ensuring effective cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Implement relevant keywords and SEO strategies to improve product discoverability and search engine rankings.
  • Plan and execute online promotional campaigns and special offers to drive traffic and conversion rates.
  • Gather and utilize customer feedback, reviews, and suggestions to enhance the product assortment and overall shopping experience. Maintain a strong understanding of customer profiles, journeys, and needs.
  • Develop and maintain a scorecard to measure the performance and profitability of all eCommerce initiatives.

Position Requirements
Experience:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience of relevant experience in eCommerce
  • Experience working for a product manufacturer selling through Home Improvement retail is preferred.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, advertising, communications, or related field.

Required Skills/Competencies:
  • Experience in e-commerce marketing, digital advertising, SEO, conversion optimization, and email marketing.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms and content management systems (Craft, Wix, Adobe, WordPress)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent data entry skills with an extremely high level of accuracy.
  • CRM, ERP, and other inventory management experience is a plus!
  • Excellent skills in the Microsoft Office package including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • A passion for staying up to date with industry trends and consumer behavior.
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple deadlines and priorities, and drive projects through to completion, while collaborating with other team members.
  • Must be organized, energetic, and attentive to detail!

Travel:
  • Travel as needed to support projects at corporate locations (i.e. Bryan, OH, Pioneer, OH, or Grand Rapids, MI); or to assist with trade shows, customer meetings, and other on-the-job learning opportunities.

Physical Requirements:
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, and to stand, walk, reach, bend, or lift up to 25 pounds.
