Job Summary:

The Ecommerce Operations Manager will oversee most operational aspects of the JEGS digital business. Duties will include business analysis, authoring user stories, defect tracking, feature prioritization, acceptance testing and status reporting. In addition, the Ecommerce Operations Manager will manage the campaign calendar and will be a critical facilitator for the successful execution of JEGS’ online marketing campaigns and promotions. The primary responsibility of the Digital Operations Manager will be to ensure that digital operations run efficiently, are aligned with business objectives, and meet performance goals.

You will:

  • Assist in the execution of feature development and digital marketing campaigns across various media platforms, including Jegs.com, social media, email marketing, and other online channels.
  • Function as the single point of contact for inter and intra-departmental work requests. Assist with prioritization and task delegation.
  • Act as a key communicator and collaborator between teams, stakeholders, and ‘clients’, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout a project.
  • Manage content creation, scheduling, and delivery of digital assets for various media platforms.
  • Partner with the marketing and creative teams to ensure digital content aligns with the overall marketing strategy and brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate and assist in the execution of website maintenance, bug fixes, feature enhancements and content updates to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of digital performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Work closely with internal departments and external partners to support the delivery of digital campaigns and projects on time and on budget.
  • Manage tasks within an online project management solution that provides insight into peoples’ time utilization, project progress, work streams in flight and requests in the backlog.
  • Assist with the development and documentation of user stories and corresponding Level of Effort analyses.
  • Lead and direct the process for project status updates within the team.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, technology, communications, digital media, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce, digital marketing principles and relevant online platforms.
  • Proficiency with content management systems, social media management tools, and a familiarity with email marketing platforms.
  • Basic level of experience with agile software development methodologies
  • Basic knowledge of analytics tools and ability to interpret digital performance metrics.
  • Previous experience in digital marketing, social media, or content creation role is a plus.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools and basic image editing skills.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting of digital performance metrics.
