JOB SUMMARY:
The E-commerce Manager champions E-business solutions supporting growth and new customer acquisition. This role resides in Product Support and collaborates with product support sales and operations management. With an understanding of Ohio CAT's digital business strategy, the position will provide consistent leadership in deploying and driving e-commerce-related solutions. Most importantly, this position serves as a critical customer-focused resource supporting growth across all Ohio CAT digital business platforms.
Champion for all Ohio CAT and Caterpillar Inc. customer-facing applications. To include: backend registration, maintenance, customer & employee training, and promotion. Systems include, but are not limited to: parts.cat.com, the Cat app, CRS Customer Portal, and Live Chat. Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote E-Commerce solutions to customers in alignment with our corporate marketing strategy. Direct interface with management and presentation of plans for any new developments or initiatives aimed at enhancing Ohio CAT's online presence and e-commerce sales. Manage and implement Integrated Procurement Projects and related customer requests.

Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to successfully multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork skills are critical. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external technical resources and business area leaders. Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and overnight travel as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's degree with a major in Marketing, Information Systems, or other business-related discipline, industry experience preferred. In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of relevant industry experience and demonstrated understanding of current e-commerce procedures and techniques. Experience developing and overseeing digital marketing strategies. Understanding of web design, paid search, and web analytics. Good understanding of e-commerce best practices, with a track record of applying these best practices. Experience with digital marketing and analytics, e-commerce order fulfillment, distribution/shipping, fraud detection/loss prevention, and payment gateway integration.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard, and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
