Develops and executes Merchandising plans to drive profitable eCommerce growth. Partner cross-functionally with enterprise Buyers and Planners to build an optimized online assortment that meets customer demand and drives profitable sales. This role is the owner of the customer-facing assortment experience on the site, ensuring Product Management, Buying, Planning and Marketing support.
1. Leads eCommerce Site Merchandising and Product Content teams.
2. Responsible for partnering with Buying & Planning to build assortment and inventory strategies to meet/exceed online sales & margin goals.
3. Identify category, vendor and drop-ship opportunities for online expansion.
4. Develop and maintain online assortment guidelines that align with the enterprise merchandising strategy.
5. Monitor business performance, and communicate assortment, inventory, site experience and marketing needs to cross-functional partners and leadership.
6. Drive the customer experience by improving taxonomy, navigation, site search and product data.
7. Responsible for visual merchandising of all vertical, category, sub-category pages.
8. Responsible for product data collection and optimization to drive purchase confidence online.
9. Partner cross-functionally to optimize marketing campaigns, fulfillment and operations.
10. Present and communicate strategies and performance to leadership on a weekly basis.
11. Lead and develop Site Marketing and Product Content teams.
1. Bachelor's degree required.
2. Minimum of five years of experience within Merchandising and/or Planning required.
3. Prior experience managing people with the ability to effectively lead a team.
4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor and develop team members.
5. Ability to influence people, build solid relationships and manage and resolve conflict.
6. Excellent presentation, communication, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills required.
7. Flexibility and ability to handle frequent change, prioritize and direct multiple activities.
8. Highly motivated with the ability to function independently, solve problems and drive results.
9. Strong computer skills including advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills required.
