E-Billing Specialist (Law Firm)

The Senior E-billing Specialist will report to the Billing Manager, and will lead the firm’s electronic billing systems and processes. The Senior E-billing Specialist will transition clients to electronic billing by setting up firm billing details on the e-billing site, coordinating with the billing team for timely billing, and leading investigations and resubmissions to safeguard firm revenue. Key responsibilities include:

• New client ebilling setups and maintenance in eBillingHub and vendor sites.
• Proactively tracking new matter openings and updating new ebilled matters as necessary.
• Communicating with clients, billing team, collections team and billing attorneys to maintain a successful electronic billing process from beginning to end.
• Maintain firm billing and user access to around 50 billing sites and manage use of each client on all sites.
• Maintain ebillingHub connection to billing sites.
• Meet firm and client deadlines on a monthly basis.
• Monitor and review submissions for accuracy and timely resolve any billing and or short pay issues.
• Troubleshoot ebilling software applications.

Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must possess solid organizational & communication skills, have a keen eye for detail, and work well in a group setting.

Qualifications:

• Three years or more of legal e-billing and e-billing set up experience is required for this role.
• Experience with setting up clients in Thompson Reuters ebillingHub or Aderant Bill Blast is required.
• Strong technology skills are required, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• The candidate should have extensive experience using sites like Counselink, Legal Tracker, Bottomline Legal Exchange, Bottomline Legal-X, Collaborati, Tymetrix360, Acuity, and CounselGo.
• The candidate should have experience with cost shares, billing to insurance carriers, and have the ability to handle complex ebilling setups.
• Experience with Elite Enterprise / 3E is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
