- Speaking to guests to update them about their pet's stay or concerns
- Training team members
- Know and enforce all cleaning, safety, and dog-handling procedures
- Must be flexible, able to fill in, and train all positions
- They will work closely with the general manager and management team to ensure excellent care and customer service at all times.
- Administering and recording medications and vaccines.
- Being alert to any potential concerns with dogs in your care.
- Supervising staff and delegating tasks
- Must be able to handle dogs of all sizes and cats
- Must enjoy working with both people and pets
- Must have the stamina to walk large, energetic dogs as well as ensure our kennel looks inviting and clean
- Must have a flexible work schedule where you can work during the week, as well as the weekend and major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Must be able to follow directions and comply with processes and procedures
- Must have a keen sense of observation when caring for the pets
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks; lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, etc.
- Must be able to work around different breeds of dogs and cats
