Designer Drafter

As a Drafter you will be responsible for converting Engineers' designs into technical drawings and plans.
The successful candidate will have the ability to think strategically about our business and our customers' success, while
working in collaboration across all departments and all teams to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction to our growing
list of global customers.

● Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers
● Design machined, molded, and formed parts and assemblies
● Utilize SolidWorks to convert designs into technical drawings and plans
● Design products using proven and advanced engineering and manufacturing techniques
● Create or revise accurate, detailed SolidWorks CAD models, drawings, BOM's, and other engineering
documentation as required
● Specify dimensions, tolerances materials, and procedures for new products, machines
● Team closely with direct manager to develop OKRs that are laser-aligned with our company OKRs
● Meet monthly OPEX targets

● 3+ years of experience in drafting within the manufacturing or engineering industry
● Proficient at using Solidworks and PDM
● Has experience designing sheet metal components
● Detail oriented with strong analytical thinking skills
● Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative team player approach. Ability to build trust and confidence with
peers and other stakeholders.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic environment including a high tolerance for ambiguity.
● Extremely well organized with excellent prioritization and time management skills.
● Effective communicator that is always direct and transparent with the courage and ability to take a strong position
when required for the good of the company. Also able to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally

Target salary range: $ 70k + equity and bonus

Required Skills / Qualifications:

● Associates degree in drafting or Mechanical Engineering technology

● 3 years of engineering experience

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

● Possesses a strong interest in cutting edge technology and has the ability to identify, evaluate and deploy new
technologies to meet the growing needs of customers and ensure we maintain market leadership.
● Demonstrated ability to lead projects, driving actions to achieve success.
● Demonstrated technical savvy and prowess in product innovation and design having applied engineering
fundamentals from concept through product design to product realization.
● Strong SolidWorks Design Skills
