Drafter / Project Designer

We are seeking a talented Drafter / Project Designer, preferably with hands-on building experience, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of work experience in event, exhibition, and retail design. Must be detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to solve problems efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models in CAD for a wide variety of projects, both large and small.
• Produce descriptive and clear shop drawings, install directives, client design proposals, and renderings.
• Collaborate with the production team to integrate client feedback while ensuring feasibility for production.
• Prepare files for vendors, including image files for printing.
• Program parts and cut lists for CNC milling and other automated tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial design, architecture, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional work experience.
• Knowledge of and interest in art, fashion, design, and architecture.
• Expert-level proficiency in Rhino or SolidWorks.
• High-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Office 365, and Windows.
• Experience in CNC programming (Fusion 360 is a plus).
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Understanding of fabrication techniques and the ability to translate them into technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.

• Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 (Dependent on experience)
