- Position: Architectural Designer /AutoCAD Drafter
- Type: Consultant / Hybrid (2 days WFH, 3 days in office)
- Start Date: Immediately
- Location: The Helmsley Building, 230 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10169 (next to GCT)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, (Monday & Tuesday are WFH – these two days are subject to change based on the Presidents schedule. Wednesday through Friday is in the office)
- Time: 8:30am-5:30pm (includes a lunch hour which is not paid time)
- Pay: $20-$30/hour (Depending on work experience)
- Responsibilities include:
- Prepare 2d drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare various reports.
- Perform building façade inspections / attend job-site visits.
- Prepare meeting minutes / field reports.
- Help improve current office operations and procedures / workflow.
- Effectively communicate with clients, contractors, vendors via calls and email.
- Qualifications (must haves):
- Bachelors in Architecture or equivalent education.
- Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- 1+ years experience in the architecture/engineering/construction (A/E/C) industry.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Leadership qualities.
- Extremely organized.
- Task driven / results driven personality.
- Qualifications (great to have):

- Adobe Indesign (will train)

We hold the required OSHA Certifications for performing façade inspections via a boom lift, suspended scaffold, supported pipe scaffold and industrial rope access (IRA) because we are also SPRAT Certified. (When the economy fluctuates or a pandemic happens, we can still work because it can be filed with the NYC DOB as essential work)
