Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Assistant to support our team in various administrative and interior design-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing furniture online, creating proposals, managing schedules, and handling expenses.
Responsibilities:
- Source furniture online from various vendors and websites based on project requirements and budget constraints.
- Create proposals for clients, including detailed item lists, pricing, and project timelines.
- Track receipts and expenses
- Handle appointments and schedules, ensuring efficient time management and coordination.
- Manage order lists, track orders, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain records on Houzz Pro platform, including project details, client communications, and vendor information.
- Place orders for furniture, materials, and other project-related items, following established procedures and protocols.
- Manage receipts, organizing and storing them in a systematic manner for easy reference.
- Call and speak with vendors regarding orders and or delivery
- Call and speak with subcontractors who are going to handle the placement of furniture and building furniture
Qualification:
- Proven experience as an assistant or similar role, preferably in the interior design industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, patience and understanding
- Proficiency in sourcing furniture online and creating detailed proposals.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- -Interior design services experience preferred.
- Experience with Asana and Houzz platforms is a plus.
