Design Assistant

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Assistant to support our team in various administrative and interior design-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing furniture online, creating proposals, managing schedules, and handling expenses.

Responsibilities:

• Source furniture online from various vendors and websites based on project requirements and budget constraints.
• Create proposals for clients, including detailed item lists, pricing, and project timelines.
• Track receipts and expenses
• Handle appointments and schedules, ensuring efficient time management and coordination.
• Manage order lists, track orders, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain records on Houzz Pro platform, including project details, client communications, and vendor information.
• Place orders for furniture, materials, and other project-related items, following established procedures and protocols.
• Manage receipts, organizing and storing them in a systematic manner for easy reference.
• Call and speak with vendors regarding orders and or delivery
• Call and speak with subcontractors who are going to handle the placement of furniture and building furniture

Qualification:

• Proven experience as an assistant or similar role, preferably in the interior design industry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, patience and understanding
• Proficiency in sourcing furniture online and creating detailed proposals.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• -Interior design services experience preferred.
• Experience with Asana and Houzz platforms is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $3,000.00 per month
