Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Dental Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support and exceptional customer service to our patients. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. We are looking for the candidate to have chairside dental assisting experience and carry or be able to qualify for the CDA certifications in addition to the desire to work at the front desk administrative roles. We are not looking for one person to do it all, but for someone to join a team of 14 others working in various capacities in our busy but fun filled office.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in four handed chairside dentistry one day per week
· Occasionally support the clinical team in the Sterilization Area
· Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
· Schedule and confirm patient appointments using patient scheduling systems
· Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
· Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
· Assist with maintaining a clean and organized office
· Help to manage supplies and inventory
· Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an the dental field
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Familiarity with dental software and patient communication software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a focus on providing exceptional patient service
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
