Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify insurance coverage and collect necessary patient information
- Maintain patient records and update electronic systems
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and address their inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations of the office
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology is a plus
- Familiarity with medical administrative support and front desk operations
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems, such as Epic
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and record keeping
