Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our dental office. The ideal candidate will have experience as a medical receptionist, possess excellent communication skills, and be familiar with dental office procedures and terminology. Montday through Thursday with occasional half day on Friday
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, scheduling appointments as necessary
- Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing
- Maintain patient records and update information in Eaglesoft dental software
- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists as needed
- Assist with medical scheduling and follow-up appointments
- Collect payments and provide financial counseling to patients
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Manage front desk operations, including managing patient flow and maintaining a clean reception area
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office setting
- Proficient in using Eaglesoft or other dental software systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
