Position Details:

Job Title:Dental Receptionist

Location: Prime Dental Pasco, 6005 Burden Blvd, Suite 101, Pasco, WA, 99301

Experience: Experience in dental reception is preferred, but not required. A minimum of 1-year experience in dental, medical, or optometry reception is necessary.

Schedule: We offer flexibility in scheduling, with our office open Monday to Friday from 7 am to 7pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 2pm. Many of our employees enjoy working 3 x 12-hour shifts. Enjoy flexibility in your schedule to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Schedule and confirm appointments using dental scheduling software (OpenDental)
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department
- Collect patient information and update electronic health records accurately
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide excellent patient service

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a dental, medical, or optical office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
