Dental Assistant/Receptionist

Lynnwood Dental Excellence is seeking a Dental Assistant/Receptionist. Our office alternates our work weeks (M-Th, Tu-F), which means you get a 4 day weekend every other week!

Established, privately-owned practice is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant/ Front Desk Receptionist to join amazing team.

General responsibilities:

• Answer busy phone lines
• Check patients in and out
• Enter patient information into the software: info, health histories, account edits, etc.
• Verify patient insurance benefit limitations, allowances
• Present treatment plans and answer questions regarding treatment, scheduling, & insurance
• Accept payment at the time of service and over the phone
• Generate claims for procedures completed
• Schedule and reschedule patients as requested
• Help fill the schedule when there are openings
• Work hygiene and doctor schedule recall as requested

* Assistant duties As Needed:

• Take digital x-rays, intra-oral photos, and digital scans.
• Rubber dam placement.
• Pack cord and make temporary crowns.
• Demonstrate knowledge of dental terminology, instruments and equipment
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed.
• Assist during procedures 4-handed dentistry (including filling, crown, root canal, oral surgery, & implants).
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed.
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked.
• Maintain accurate patient records.

Experience REQUIRED- please DO NOT apply if you do not have at least 2 years of experience in the dental field.

Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour, depends on experience

Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
