Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient service and administrative support in our dental office. Your role will involve managing patient appointments, maintaining medical records, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.
Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Schedule appointments in Dentrix software
- Collect and update patient information in electronic medical records
- Verify insurance information and coordinate with ins eligibility company
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients
- Assist with checking out patients and presenting treatment plans
- Manage patient files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role
- Proficient in using dental office software such Dentrix
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
